[9.100][BUG] Http reading configuration

    can you check cpu usage on dashboard when you have this problem ,
    as i posted in release note it ,can you pls change the pattern up2date to  2 or more hours .

    The CPU and Memory resources are normal, the problem still happens.
    I disabled HTTPS Scan to see the behavior.

    Hi Siarom,

    There is nothing in the log you posted that shows an error.  Those are all standard messages that are printed whenever the proxy starts up.

    All the cffsxx checks are the proxy looking for the closest/fastest categorization lookup server, which is does at startup and again periodically.

    If you exclude those it starts at reading configuration, and 9 seconds later you see the "Integrated HTTP-Proxy" message which is when the proxy can start processing requests.

    The proxy needs to restart to handle some types of configuration changes.  If you think the proxy is restarting when it shouldn't, we need more logs.
    What occurs before the "reading configuration" line?
    Is there anything in the Kernel Message log at the same time?
    Are there any files in /var/storage/cores/ ?

    I'm not restarting the proxy, this is happening constantly after the update to version 9.100-8. And is causing a number of falls, apparently after disable scan https everything is normal ... I'm still monitoring.

    The hardware capabilities are normal. Some test or log file that I send for review?

    hi can you pls enter ouput of crash dump 

    #gdb /var/chroot-http/usr/bin/httpproxy /var/storage/cores/httpproxy.20931 -> where httpproxy.20931 is an example as coredump name.
    (gdb) bt full ->run this command after entering gdb

    20931  or/add 22197 wil help to diagnose 
     
    keep ouput of  bt full

    yes when you have segfault that time httpproxy restart and httpproxy could restart becase of out of memory also but it seems you are not running out of memory 

    segfault seems to be problem for you

    What are your system specs
    1. Memory... (sorry I see you have 8GB)
    2. Are you using dual AV scan
    3. Are you using proxy profiles
    4. Does the problem only happen when enable ssl scan?
    5. Can you post a screenshot of your dashboard to see what services are running.


    @Shrikant, can't be OOM killer with 8GB ram[:O]
