BETA-3 available now

I was told on Wednesday that the official release will be in two weeks.  They don't expect anyone to move from the UTM to it for quite awhile (I suggested two years and didn't get any response).  I asked about 9.4 and 9.5 and didn't get a response.

Bob, thank you for you update. The problem is not the time we will move to XG but the feature and UI that, at momet, do not allow us to even propose it to our existing Customers. I am really scared about that!

This is my opinion. At least if they not reply back, they are working hard and doing something!!!!

If there are any Cyberoam resellers here, I wonder how they feel.  I'm not even motivated at present to learn enough about it to sell it.

The automatic migration from UTm to XG is scheduled for something around april 2016, but as Bob says, no one is expected to move from UTm yet, only new firewall'ers [;)]

The "automatic inline upgrade OPTION" is planned for 9.4. (every partner visitings some Sophos roadshows or events might be already aware of this option...). Means not that users get forced to Copernicus but there is planned to have a option for a easy inplace upgrade UTM to copernicus for those who wants to migrate,or also the option to stay on the UTM line if you want to stay on Sophos UTM 9 road.

It's intended as help for those willing to migrate easily,but no enforcement.

I wanted to point this out,as this seems to get misunderstood sometimes...[:)]

And as always a sidenote...this is a item picked out of the roadmap. Plans may change,move forward or backwards or be dropped,replaced,whatever. However: That's the plan at this point in time.
