Simply clicked install and waited and it came back as Sophos XG with my config.

Worked great here, but why do they not show the release notes in Copernicus like the UTM did?

I would like some release notes as well, would like to know what features were added without having to do a side by side comparison.

A release notes is a must!!! Please add it to next Firmware release version.

In the u2d.log there is a field for release notes that links to the sophos.com website.
I'll assume like the other products it will end being accesible via the online help.

This is like "spot the difference" pictures from my childhood ;-)

I checked the u2d.log this morning when I launched the update but there is not a specific link or more info. See attach. 
Anyway a release notes as UTM9 has is a must. We test SFOS at home or small env and we do not know what they fixed or new features introduced. 
As now, someone has found new options?
For example Wireless WAN was already on beta2, under System > Network?
