[ANSWERED] DHCPv6 PD - Supported?

Is DHCPv6 PD (client) supported?

I don't see any equivalent to UTM's "Automatic IPv6 renumbering".   Or any references in help for Delegated Prefix.

Also, a very nice to have would be support for DHCPv6 "hint" that would allow for requesting of a prefix larger than a /64.

    Hi Alan,
    some of the issue was caused by trying to configure IPv6 the wrong way. What I missed was creating an interface for for IPv6 access, after that the internal side came together. (I was expecting a UTM style interface, not an IP address interface).
    IPv6 addresses are assigned, but don't achieve any network connectivity beyond the the internal network. MASQ of IPv6 to the IPv4 interface does not appear to work.
    There is no way of setting up an external IPv6 access to either a sixxs tunnel or native IPv6 DHCP from an ISP. If I go to fixed IPv6 addressing then yes I can use IPv6 addressing.

    So, in summary probably user training.

    AlanT: Ipv6 over PPPoE is not working for me, tried all kind of options its not getting an IPv6 adress, nor prefix.

    If you look at the running system log on a PPPoE reconnect you will not see any reference to an IPv6 address.

    So, internally yes, IPv6 works using DHCP, externally only on fixed addresses. My feeling is that if IPv6 worked externally, I would not have had the setup issues I have experienced.
