[8.172][NOTABUG][CLOSED] application/x-fcs + proxy compatibility...

Hi,

we have several problems to view adobe link tv like this:

Pratically every browser stays stuck showing nothing (flashing dots)... in very rare case it works but I don't know why.

Analyzing the traffic of the proxy I can see that nothing is blocked, but the following incremental logs:

These URL constantly increase: 

80.239.230.204/.../14

and so on...

This behavior is the same also in v8.1

Could be a wrong proxy configuration or a problem with the adobe plugin and RTMTP protocol over proxy?
Any other experience?

    ...a little too hasty conclusion...

    May be you don't understand my test environment, that is web surfing for the internal network only through the proxy.
    So I can't create a packet filter rule to enable the web surfing.
    Obviously if an application is trying to go outside without the proxy then I can see this activity on the packet filter logs....

    Now this adobe web site is surfed via IE configured to use the proxy for all service (http, https, ftp...). 
    The adobe flash plugin is integrated on the browser so I believe it uses the proxy but analyzing the web activity I found that the plugin tryed to go through the gateway initially (the reason why I found packet blocked) and then it decides to use the proxy.
    In fact after the first phase, the rest of traffic continues only through proxy (no other packet blocked).

    So, what is the problem? Is the adobe plugin not compatible with astaro proxy?
    Is the proxy not able to manage well the application/x-fcs?
    The solution to open the web through packet filter is non acceptable....

    Some Adobe updates, etc. don't work well with any proxies, in my experience; it's a limitation of Adobe--they should either use your IE settings are allow you to set your own.  The workaround I've used for products like Adobe is to create a transparent proxy profile, and set the problem update servers, etc. as excepions, or even in a proxy bypass list, as needed.

    Yes Bruce, it was also my suspect: the adobe plugin does not work well with proxy.
    As you are suggesting to me, I'll try to configure an exception.
