[8.165][BUG][OPEN] Wireless shows as inactive

Hi All

After the Update the AP10 shows as inactive. However, it up and clients are connected. Pleasee see log and image

    hschaa the AP is already up and working fine. It 's just not shown on the GUI and thinks it's inactive.

    Yeah, but if you restart awed with debugging enabled the AP will reboot on its own too since the connection to the ASG dies. Hence, start awed with debugging and wait for the AP to become available again (but shown as inactive) and attach the wireless.log afterwards.

    Hi hschaa

    I have attached the log. I have executed the commands below and then I 've collected the output. The AP still shows as inactive. (I have performed the commands 2011:06:01-19:54:03)

    /var/mdw/scripts/awed stop
    awed.plx --debug
    /var/mdw/scripts/awed start

    PS I would expect for the wireless connection to go down but it didn't

    Hmm, strange, the log doesn't contain any communication details between the AP and the ASG. Are you running an HA system?

    no I don't .Singe ASG  I would expect the AP to rebbot but it didn't . Do you want me to enable debug and then power cycle the AP? On the previous post you said that /var/mdw/scripts/awed restart will bring the AP to normal logging levels. Maybe I shouldn't have executed the /var/mdw/scripts/awed start command ?

    Yup, please redo the test with "restart" instead of "start", thanks [;)]
