[7.902][NOTABUG][CLOSED] Web Proxy doesn't work

Hi,

when i aktivate the Webproxy with transparent setting, i'm not able to surf any website, if i disable him, i can surf again...

I had this problem on 7.901 sporadically. Disable and reenable the Proxy fixed the Problem.
But not on 7.902. I can't surf with enabled proxy.

Which Logfile or or screenshot of the settings is needed?

    I was just wondering, because you mentioned that you are running the ASG on a VMWare. 

    So, how you connect the Workstation to the VMware server then? How does you VLAN setup look like?

    do you need a Backup or any screenshots?

    i have some network cards in my vmware server, 2 are direktly connected to my asg for dsl and aditional 1 for vlan connected to a netgear - switch with vlan-tagging ... ASG makes the PPPoE session so there is no possibility to bypass the ASG

    After some investigation on Robert's Box, it turned out that there seems to be a MTU Problem when using VLANs with the Netgear switch in Front of the ASG. After decreasing the MTU of the Internal Interface to 1496 all was working fine. So it doesn't look like an ASG Problem.

    Hi Sven,

    thanks for the reply. You are right, after setting the MTU to 1496 all worked like a charm. But i'm not 100% if it was only the MTU Problem. On the second interface we had a look on it for shure was the MTU. On the first interface it seemd to be a Problem with the loop i made ... so shame on me, it was a problem in my own network [:)]
