[7.901][NOTABUG][CLOSED] Errors with face book

My wife uses facebook a lot and this is what is happening with it. It gets dns resolution timeouts. Go back to 7.504 and all works well. The system was on 7.900 when this started happening out of the blue. I took it to 7.901 and still persists. I even tried adding the update Sven posted to no avail.

    You are absolutely correct. The transparent proxy sometimes makes the whole experience terrible. But bypassing proxy and using packet filter works fine. The bad thing is that these games don't come from a single domain and you can't just bypass just facebook.com or dns group facebook.com. They use various subdomains of facebook and zynga etc. 

    I wish there was a way to bypass http proxy with keywords / wildcard. Almost like the always allow/block these sites under URL filter categories where it doesn't look for the actual IP but the keywords. I usually put my PC on transparent proxy bypass and then manually define proxy in the browser and then put *.facebook.com and *.zynga.com etc in don't use proxy for these addresses[:$]

    EDIT: This has become more widespread now. I can't access any apps.facebook.com stuff via proxy and get DNS timeout but without proxy it works fine. Luckily I am the only zynga addict at my house.

    Yes everytime I seem to come up with a workaround, less than an hour later it is broke again. I finally had to go back to 7.504 till we have some kind of update that is going to address. Don't see any issues with 7.504. I am not doubting it is a facebook issue. I just am not understanding why on 7.504 it just works.
