[7.880][QUESTION][ANSWERED] remote acess

Hello Friends !

i was trying to acess my asg from some collage computer (win xp sp2 ) i was not able to acess ssh,webadmin but i was able acess only user portal ,

lets assume that machine has virus and some bad traffice but why ssh should be block and why user portal is allow 
 when i login to user portal i try to connect it with ssl vpn it was not able connect even 

how do i diagnose this issue 

but later with other computer i tryed i was able to access all things

    Hi bill ,

    as i send u pm for beta testing ,i am working 8-9 hours in office and 6-7 hours on beta and last 3 month 6 hours sleep per day ,i think i was wrong 

    if u notice my hostname ACENN --astaro certified enggier now or never ,,now i think it will be never ....

     It's a concise answer and it's to the point. It's neither impolite nor offending. 

    The answer might be concise in your eyes but if you had read the OP, he said that he could connect with one PC and not the other on the same network. I agree with your hint that we don't go hunting for logs every time you can't connect to/from another network but I guess some of it was lost in translation/humor?

    You can't take everything in the open forum too personally. Astaro is a great product and any certification that you get will only help your career. As I mentioned before, closed beta testing is for development more than bug finding. If you can connect with one PC and not the other on the same network, more than likely its the network at fault and not astaro.

    Now, can we all get along and move on to testing. Talking about that, where is the next beta?

    We'll release the next version today, within the next 6-8 hours.

    ( yes, we're a little late, but it's CeBit-time here in Germany, and even some of the developers are there :-) )

    I was looking at the list of speakers and you have some big names there. Must be fun times at all the exhibitions. Wish I was there[;)]

    It's less fun (and rather stressful) if you are there as a exhibitor. But it really is worth a visit.
