[7.450][BUG][FIXED] HTTP connections are interrupted by AV update

Hi,

every time, when the ASG updates its Avira and/or Clam definitions, all open HTTP connections are interrupted.

A few hours ago, I tried to hear webradio, but it suddenly stopped in the moment I got the update notification mail. Just a few minutes ago, a running HTTP-Download was stopped right in the moment when another update was installed.

Note: HTTP Antivirus is disabled (I had to do this due to the "not found" bug of the ASG HTTP proxy download page), and it still interrupts the connections. Using HTTP proxy in standard transparent mode.

    Any further response from Astaro?  I can confirm that I can't complete any large downloads, or stream long media, without failure under 7.470 ... something is interrupting the stream / packet flow.

    I sent my logfiles to Sven, and so far he told me that he found an http proxy restart directly after an Up2date. After that he told me to send other logs.... I think they are still examining them.

    Hi Bastion,
    my respite didn't last long. The kids have been complaining the system has been interrupting things all day.
    A quick check of the logs shows the same old epoll occurring when my audio streaming drops. This was my complaint in v7.450.

    An observation. I don't have these problems when I use an AMD based processor ASG, it only happens with my Intel and more often when ht is enabled.

    I might have to resort to a higher power usage AMD box just to get stability.

    Another MB, at least I can re-use the memory, hard drive and the NIC.

    After all we are beta testing to find the bugs. At least using the beta in my home production system doesn't jeopardise lives or business, just the gaming set. Now that can't be all bad??

    Downloads even using bit torrents were failing if they lasted longer than 5 minutes. 

    A cold start with HT enabled this morning and the ASG is back to performing correctly.

    For the moment a cold restart every other day looks like the order of things until the next beta is released.
    Wrong again, didn't even last 24 hours. 3 cold starts tonight before finally getting it back on line. The last cold start was a total power off and remove the power from the ASG.

    So far only break and that is the usual one a couple of minutes after the ASG comes on line. Going for about 20 mins without a break.
    I have a new AMD MB arriving either tomorrow or Tuesday.

    Is there any update on this? Seems to have been fixed in the meantime.

    7.490 and the current 7.500 soft-release  both seem to have this fixed; I've had no further problems with streams or large downloads.
