  • Hi,

Is there a way to verify our downloads? MD5 checksums anywhere?

  • Hi,

    sure we have.

I try to get that in a nicer way into the post next time.

  • Hi, thanks for the release.

Is there a way to have a complete release notes against the last stable on each release? Otherwise we need to search the forums for the previous beta/rc releases.

A detailed pdf like in the last post about 16.05 RC1 ( /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/46/5282.Sophos-XG-Firewall-v16_5F00_5-RN_5F00_v3.2.pdf ) is also welcomed! :)

    thanks again

  • When will any of the XG releases be ready to install on a client SG device?

    Roadmap etc.

From my testing thus far (I have three tests cuncurrently going) its just a poor product.

Not trying to sledge but I am getting very worried here.

  • Just as a heads up for anyone using SSL VPN (Remote), I had to re-download the configuration for all my VPN users after upgrading.  I know this was brought up in RC1, but doesn't appear to have been addressed.  So anyone using alot of SSL VPN, I'd say use caution.  And who knows, maybe this was just me on this upgrade?  But not going to upgrade any others until I hear a little more on this and others have had success.

    Thanks

  • We are testing it in our DR site and so far with network rules only it seems to be working properly.  We will be adding the user recognition today to see how that goes.

  • DMR188,
Can you check if certificates are replaced on upgrade? For sure, that requires new sslvpn config file.

  • Where are the official release notes? Does it include the fix for NC-14468?

  • Hi,

this is just a very small release to fix the most urgent issues mentioned in the announcement above. NC-14468 is not in the release.

  • Hi, sorry but are you sure that you just fixed 4 issues from 16.1.2 to 16.5?
