SMTP Quarantine empty

Up until a couple of days ago the SMTP Quarantine was working perfectly and I could release email, but now nothing shows after a certain date, I have restarted the awarrensmtp service in an attempt to get it working again but this has not helped.  I might restart the device also, but this is very frustrating, i can still see email is being quarantined but i cannot get to it, is there a fix for this?

Thanks

  • Hi Lawrence,

Are you not able to release the quarantine Emails or the Emails are quarantined and logged in the logs and reports but, you cannot see them on the GUI?

When trying to release Email from the quarantine, MTA will try to resolve the MX record for the Recipient domain.

This issue is seen only when Recipient domain is internal (means no public MX record available for recipient domain.)

In this case, you can use our DNS Request Route feature, to resolve MX record for internal domain(recipient domain) MTA will contact the specified DNS server mentioned for that domain under DNS Request Route. For this feature to work, you need to configure MX record in local DNS server for recipient domain. DNS Request Route feature is available under Network->DNS->DNS Request Route).

    Hope that helps.

  • Alongside, if you can see the quarantine Emails in the backend logs and reports but, they are not reflected in the GUI part then we need to check the root database and verify if the tables are updated accordingly.

It can be affected by the defect NC-13375. Please get it verified by the Support Team.

    Thanks

  • Good Morning, Sachingurung Unfortunately I'm facing this problem a few days, this solution that you gave us did not work, I wonder if there is any other way.
