Any Major Release before V16? Can you update the Release Notes?

Hi All,

I would like to know if there will be a major release 2 before v16. Also release notes page from Sophos Help Page, reachable from Sophos XG Help is not updated. In fact bugs and RN is still refering to last november. Can you post a list of know issues as it exists for UTM9?

No!

Release notes are missing at the moment. We need to wait for someone from Sophos who will publically post the MR2 is available and release notes too.

There is not a page where to get it from or a PDF.

Looking forward to release notes. On the surface it doesn't look like much has changed (At least alot of the gripes I had are still there). Still no Service Objects or Groups allowed in Business rule, Wifi still doesn't use DFS Channels, Activity Monitor is still yellow/red, Still can't rename an Interface, No Country Objects, Country Block Network Rule still not working, IPS still showing alerts for things I haven't defined in my network rule, No user override on web filtering, on and on.

So must be alot of behind the scenes type stuff.

What I have seen from MR2 that navigation is faster.

Wait for others that have found something interesting.

I am at the partner conference and have been attending everything I can to do with XG firewall and can confirm that beta is June this year. v16 is complete overhaul and learning from the self-realised mistakes/difficulties raised with v15 and by good I'm looking forward to getting my mits on it.

I too would like to know. We have 2 XG appliances that are essentially unusable in the current version.
