Enterprise Console 4.5 ?

Well... maybe I spoke too soon! sec_45_sfx.exe is available for download from their servers.... being that it isn't published yet on the pages keeps me from posting instructions on how to get it, but my copy is downloading now... hopefully I'll be installing in the test environment first thing in the morning!

I have it as well, but I'd advise holding off until Sophos release properly as we have no way of knowing if it is the final release.

Any chance you know what sql version it supports?

Have got sql server 2008r2 (64 bit version) installed on a 2008r2 box

Does sophos support the r2 release of sql 2008?

Or do I need to use the 32 bit version of the r2 release of sql server 2008

or is it just not supported?

If so do I install the 32 or 64bit version of sql server 2008

Never mind, seems you do have to install a 32bit version

Next problem now through, my supervisor tells me how licence is problery expired, and I cant find the document with our username and password to entre into the console

Is anyone having problems getting this download besides me? I ran the 1.7 meg program from the link and after running it I get to a "waiting for https://secure.sophos.com/mysophos/login" after I enter my username and password. I've tried this a few times and eventually it'll require another login which waits again.

Is there another way to download the Sophos Enterprise Console 4.5?

@BobPR. Goto http://sophos.com, click login at the top, enter your details and click login, you then come back to the home page, click on support at the top, now click downloads and updates. You can now download the installer direct.

During the upgrade from Enterprise Console 3 to Enterprise Console 4, we identified a number of environmental conditions that caused serious problems during the upgrade for many of our customers. The Upgrade Advisor is designed to detect these conditions and help you modify them in order to make your upgrade experience as smooth as possible.

Bypassing the Upgrade Advisor would mean that you miss out on our guided advice during your upgrade, and could cause significant problems using Enterprise Console on your management server. Certainly spending a little extra time at the beginning of the process is worth it to avoid days of unecessary grief later on, isn't it?
